September 2015 update

Posted on 22 Sep 2015

The beginning of September saw the launch of the Praxis ComparativeGlossary. We started off by creating a downloadable glossary that could also be used as an index to the Praxis website. It quickly expanded to include a comparison of processes and functions from guides such as PRINCE2, the PMBoK® guide, ISO21500 and the APM Body of Knowledge.

So if you ever need to communicate with people using different methods and guidance and wonder how the different terminologies relate – just download the glossary.

The next version will include terms from PRINCE2 Agile and the APM’s guide to Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Control.

This summer saw an interesting development. We have been approached by a couple of companies to see if a copy of the Praxis website could be tailored to their specific approach to projects and programmes. The obvious answer is yes and we’re currently looking at the technicalities of running Praxis on a corporate intranet – more news soon.

The number of translated pages produced by our various volunteers around the world continues to increase, with by far the biggest team working to translate the entire site into Italian. More news on this soon.
