Encyclopaedia

The Praxis encyclopaedia contains explanations of many techniques and models used in project, programme and portfolio (P3) management. Many of these are widely recognised in general management but the encyclopaedia places them in the P3 management context with cross-references to the components of the main Praxis framework.

As with any encyclopaedia, the explanations are concise. Their aim is to enable a basic understanding of a technique or model that is referenced in the main framework. This enables the reader to work through a knowledge function or method process and quickly fill in any relevant gaps in their knowledge of the topic.

The resources section of the library expands on many of the encyclopaedia entries with broader debate and, in some cases, worked examples.

The encyclopaedia is regularly updated and expanded. It contains explanations of all the techniques and models referenced in Praxis.
