July has seen some interesting initiatives get underway. The ‘community driven’ aspect of Praxis was given a great boost by Luca Gambetti and Martin Haedrich who have made a start on translating pages into Italian and French respectively. There’s a lot to translate and hopefully we can attract many volunteers with skills in different languages to help take the framework to project managers all over the world.In the middle of the month two magazines carried features related to Praxis. June 2014 update

June has been a month for consolidation, focusing on new content and ways of reaching people who will find Praxis useful. A well as the ‘comment’ feature added at the end of last month you can now share any page through a variety of social media.The discussions are getting going on our LinkedIn group – thanks to all those who have contributed. It’s great to be able to encourage new ideas and test them through this medium. May 2014 update

As our launch month draws to a close it’s time to look back on a hectic few weeks and review a major milestone in the Praxis project.The launch relied entirely on social media to spread the word. On the 1st May the APM carried a blog entitled “Knowledge, method, competence and maturity – can we achieve the holy grail?” This generated a lot of interest and continues to do so, even though it is no longer on the APM’s home page.
