The purpose of this section is to show how the ISO21500 subject area processes map to the functional procedures in the Praxis Framework. The one subject area missing from this document is integration as that mapping is covered by the Praxis ISO21500 based method.
ISO21500 provides a very high level description of project management processes. It does not provide great detail on the tools, techniques and detailed processes needed to implement the standard in practice.
By utilising the extensive resources in the Praxis Framework it is possible to implement an ISO21500 compatible high level process and support this with detailed procedures, tools and techniques. It also shows how the same high level approach is relevant to programmes as well as projects.
