The difference between level 2 and 3 is not about the quality of individual contracts as they all need to be robust and fit for purpose.

It is more about consistency across multiple contracts and the degree to which they are treated as working documents.

Negotiate contract terms

Standard terms and conditions are in place and deemed to be adequate.

Monitor

Contracts are only considered in progress monitoring where a breach is suspected.

Conclude

Contracts are closed with confirmation that delivery is complete and final payment made.
