Nigel has over 25 years’ experience of project delivery, governance, assurance and leading maturity assessment and capability improvement services.
He has worked globally, helping organisations in different sizes, geographies, sectors and cultures assure their projects, programmes and portfolios and raise their capability. This has included developing maturity models, designing and embedding methods and frameworks based on best management practice, developing project managers and project teams though competency assessments, coaching and mentoring, and SO9001 accreditation.
Nigel was a member of the authoring teams for the 2009 and 2017 versions of PRINCE2® and the latest version of P3M3® on behalf of Axelos Limited and helped develop the Public Sector Programme Management Approach (PSPMA).
He also has hands-on experience of managing IT infrastructure, services and transformation bids, projects and programmes for major IT services companies and leading Project Management Offices serving emerging markets.
Nigel was named in the ILX 2018 “Top 30 Influencers” list for project management practice, was elected a Fellow of the Association of Project Management and served as a member of APM’s Assurance Specific Interest Group Committee.
